About Scott

Scott Smith is a senior certified law clerk from Central City, NE. Scott attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studied Agricultural Economics. He was accepted into a highly selective 3 plus 3 program where he completed his undergraduate studies in 3 years and began law school following the completion of his junior year.

Scott is currently in his third year at the Nebraska College of Law where he serves as the Treasurer for the Federalist Society, a member of the Robert Van Pelt Inn of Court, and as a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity. Scott is a proud member of the Cornhusker Marching band where he is entering his 5th year with the organization as an alto saxophone player. Scott also volunteers his time as an assistant high school speech coach at Aurora High School, specifically coaching the extemporaneous speakers.

During his free time, Scott enjoys flying airplanes, golfing, and bass fishing. He also is an avid husker athletics fan and can be seen cheering on the huskers at many husker athletics events throughout the year.
