Melissa Peck is originally from Olathe, Kansas. In 2011, she received her high school diploma from Maranatha Academy. In 2015, Melissa graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Deaf Studies. While at Northwest Missouri State University, Melissa held numerous leadership positions, competed as part of the university’s mock trial team, and presented research in multiple forums regarding the plight of deaf individuals in the legal system. In 2018, Melissa graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She received a platinum level certificate for performing over two hundred hours of pro bono legal work as a law student.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys designing and building architectural models with LEGO bricks, watching movies, reading, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her Jack Russell terriers, Elroy and Kavya.
